Description: I will describe how for all the major world religions there are apologists today who claim that their own sacred texts contain modern scientific knowledge. This claim is used to make the further claim that their own text is the ‘word of God’ and that their religion is true. I will argue that these arguments generally have a common structure and will point out the different fallacies associated with the different steps in the argument.
